Brand Storyteller

From an early age, armed with Star Wars action figures and a home video camera, Jonathan found the narrative behind laser blasts and karate kicks. This love of stories would push him through college at Oklahoma Christian University towards a degree in Creative Media. Finally graduating on a Friday in 2010, he kicked off his first day at ICG the following Monday, with stories ready to tell. Five years later, Jonathan builds upon his experience in Video Editing, with an expanded role in strategic Copywriting. Where others see sunlight and shadows, Jonathan sees camera shots, visual metaphors and narrative parallels. From the moment a brief hits his desk, he treats each new campaign as a small adventure to find the hidden stories buried deep within them so he can share those to the world.

When outside the office, Jonathan spends his time binging Netflix, painting miniature figurines, and learning Português. His life-companions include his extremely talented wife, Jillian, and his two dogs Temperance and Seeley, the breeds of which are known simply as “Brown dog and yellow dog.” You can find Jonathan at his favorite tea place, drinking a goguma latte, eating his second helping of Sushi and nose buried in the latest Science Fiction novel.
