St. Anthony, a not-for-profit health company, possesses the largest affiliate healthcare network in the state of Oklahoma. One of the biggest challenges a health network of this size faces is how to manage their brand online when their network encompasses multiple hospitals and physicians.
The new SaintsNearYou.com allows St. Anthony to do just that. By consolidating all information related to the network into a single site, St. Anthony is able to present their network as a single unified brand with a user experience that’s consistent.
From a consumer standpoint, the ability to navigate throughout the network of hospitals and physicians provides a far better experience than a network with several inconsistent websites. Users can browse as they like and get the information they need quickly and easily. A robust search function allows users to find the information they’re looking for. Online ER reservations can be made from any page on the site.
From the provider’s standpoint, a single website for the network allows the internal team to add, edit and remove content from a single backend. Additionally, there’s the ability to create pages for service lines, allowing for the marketing of individual services in a very targeted way.
Information about each of the individual hospitals in the network is just a few clicks away. Users can see the breadth of the network at a glance, then focus on the hospital they wish to learn about. Physicians can be associated with individual hospitals and vice versa. Other content such as videos, image galleries and location information can be edited with ease.
The latest version of the website features the ability to search physicians or browse by specialty or city. Search results are displayed in a grid format with large, crisp photos. Each physician has their own pages including contact information, biographical information, photos, videos and a Google Map listing the locations where they practice.
The addition of social media features in the sidebar allow users to connect with the physician on Google Plus or recommend them on Facebook.
St. Anthony was the first in Oklahoma and the fourth in the nation to offer online ER and Urgent Care reservations for non-life-threatening conditions through a service called inQuicker.
The new SaintsNearYou.com features full integration to the reservation service through the inQuicker API, giving visitors to the site a high-level view of available times at each of St. Anthony’s participating locations. Availabilities are pulled in to the site and displayed in real-time, giving the assurance that the times they see listed are accurate.
In additional to the full view of all availabilities throughout the network, the individual pages of participating hospitals features a sidebar widget displaying available reservation times specific to that location.
