Kicks for Kindness

All throughout July, we’re holding a shoe drive for the homeless called Kicks for Kindness.

We’re taking new and gently used shoes for our pals at The Homeless Alliance, The Curbside Chronicle, Pivot – A Turning Point for Youth, and City Rescue Mission.

On July 9, we kicked off the drive with a party at our place, and we received  hundreds of shoes! But we’re not stopping here. There are many individuals and families in need, and we know there are a lot of shoes taking up good closet space in OKC.

Special thanks to News 9 for covering the event!

It’s such an easy thing to donate shoes. Most of us are fortunate enough to have too many pairs to choose from, but others are barely getting by. Together we can help make a big impact!

But if you really don’t have a pair to spare, we’re also selling some killer tanks that you can pick up here for only 10 bucks—shout out to the Oklahoma Shirt Company for making and donating them! We’ll take this cash and buy all the shoes we can.

And if you need a place to drop off after hours or on the weekend, Commonplace Books is providing another drop off spot in Midtown.

Thank you for helping OKC’s homeless!
