New partnership with McCurtain County Tourism

You may know the area for Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake and a little sleepy community called Hochatown.

McCurtain County Tourism has named us their new agency of record!

Located in Southeastern Oklahoma, McCurtain County is 1902 square miles of Instagram-worthy views, amazing trout fishing, miles of hiking trails, luxury cabins, rustic cell signals and the freshest air you will ever breathe. You may know the area for Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake and a little sleepy community called Hochatown.

If you’ve been to McCurtain County, you will go back. In fact, we took the entire agency there recently, and our biggest takeaways—besides the majestic views—are the memories we made.

Business is booming around Beavers Bend State Park. Over 3,000 luxury cabins bring thousands of tourists from Oklahoma and surrounding states every year. With hundreds of cabins added annually, the need for increasing brand awareness in key markets is a task we are ready to take on.

“We are very excited to welcome the ICG team as our new agency of record.” Charity O’Donnell, Executive Director of McCurtain County Tourism Authority said in a statement, “We were impressed with the creative and felt like their team nailed it when it comes to how we want to be promoted.”

We will be handling creative and media across all platforms, with a primary focus in the Dallas market.

The main draw in the heart of McCurtain County Tourism is 1,300-acre Beavers Bend State Park. It has options for outdoor enthusiasts to hunt, fish, hike, zipline or campout, as well as plenty of options to escape for complete relaxation in luxury cabins. The need to unplug, getaway, recharge—or whatever you call it—is real. We want to show people what fresh air, board games and spotty cell service can do for their souls.

Although we’ve already jumped in and started work on the project, we officially take over as AOR (Agency of Record) on July 1st. And to show just how excited we are for our new partnership with McCurtain County, we built a cabin inside our agency—situated appropriately above the ball pit and slide.
