Move to Oklahoma
Launching a campaign that created a lot of new Oklahomans
With our friends at the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, we made work that made people want to move to the Heartland in droves. Through smart media placements and strategic creative work, we got the word out about all the possibilities that await people in the plains.

Challenging Perceptions & Preconceived Notions
Oklahoma has a gap in skilled workers, and needs to build up a workforce. So we looked at migration trends, quality of life, and other factors and saw that Dallas, Houston, and LA were key opportunity markets. From there, we leaned into young adults being burnt out by hustle culture and positioned the state as the place rich in everything that matters. We challenged the dusty perceptions of the state while staying true to its roots. In doing so, we showed it as somewhere you start living, instead of just hustling through life in the big city.
Leveraging Moving Trends to Identify the Audience
Since 2022, there’s been a trend of Texans and Californians seeking greener pastures in Oklahoma. They caught on quick that this was the escape from the grind they needed. We noticed that and it helped identify who to talk to, how to
talk to them, and where to spread the word.
Creating Tools to Illustrate Savings and Dream Locations
Numbers don’t lie and they speak volumes. We made it easy for our audience to see the difference in the cost of living in their state compared to Oklahoma with an interactive calculator tool on the Move to Oklahoma website. We also created tools to help them find and explore different regions of the state to get an up close and personal look at their next neighborhood.
Launching Media at all the Pain Points
At every turn, we hit our audience with some hard-hitting facts about the difference between where they’re at and where they could be if they moved to Oklahoma.
